After-School Club, Where the Fun Continues!

At Pear Tree Infant & Nursery School, the learning, laughter and opportunities don’t stop when the school day ends! Our after-school clubs give children the chance to discover new interests, develop talents and have fun with their friends in a relaxed and supportive environment. From getting active and trying new skills in our Multi-Sports Club to becoming creative and confident in the kitchen through our Cooking Club, there is something for everyone. We want our clubs to inspire children to have a go, build confidence, develop independence and discover something they love.

Mr T. Watson

Lunchtime & After-School Club Sports Coach

Mr T. Watson is a Sports Coach from Progressive Sports, whose expertise has been brought into Pear Tree Infant & Nursery School by our school leaders to enhance opportunities for children to be active, develop new sporting skills and enjoy physical activity.

Mr Watson supports our lunchtime provision and after-school sports clubs, providing engaging opportunities for children to be active, build confidence, develop teamwork and experience the enjoyment of sport. His involvement is part of our commitment to providing children with high-quality opportunities to be active, healthy and confident both within and beyond the school day.

After-School Club Information

Voluntary contribution: All clubs ask for a voluntary contribution of £1 per session.
Places: Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We will let you know if your child has been allocated a place.
12-week cycles: Most clubs run in 12-week cycles, giving children repeated opportunities to take part throughout the school year. If your child is not allocated a place this time, there will be plenty more opportunities to have a go at a club later in the year!
