Photographs and Website

How photographs are used at Pear Tree Infant School and Nursery School

Photographs of pupils are taken to celebrate memorable learning experiences and achievements. Examples of pupils’ work and images may be displayed around the school and, where appropriate, published on the school website.

Class photographs are taken by a professional photographer, and the school follows strict guidelines for the storage and use of these images.

In line with the Data Protection Act, photographs of children are classified as personal data. Therefore, the school will never publish a child’s photograph on the school website, social media platforms, or any other public forum without prior written consent from a parent or carer.

Permission forms allowing us to use your child's photographs are filled in with admission forms.

Requests for these forms can be collected from the school office.
